iheartfaces - Surprise!

This weeks theme for iheartfaces is Surprise{!} One thing I've learned since my sister had her first child is that holidays are so much funner with kids around! For Pioneer Day in Utah this year, my family did some little street fireworks and the kids reactions were {priceless!} This particular photo shows my nieces surprised reaction to an especially awesome firework.

I Heart Faces - 'Over My Head' Photo Challenge

This is my first time entering the I Heart Faces weekly photo challenge, although I have done the themes just for fun several times in the past. I really loved this photo shoot with my roommate K and her fiance B. They wanted some pictures playing in the beautiful Autumn leaves in the canyon for their engagements. I just love their faces in this picture throwing the leaves up in the air. Such a cute couple!

The Piano Girl

This week's theme for "i heart faces" was play. And although this might be a literal interpretation of the theme to be perfectly honest, but I thought it was perfect for the theme. Last Thanksgiving I was watching K run around and of course she found her way to the piano and she wanted be just like her mom and play the piano. I wish I could've gotten a good shot of her face, but I still love these photos and seeing her at such a young age already noticing what others do around around her and wanting to participate. So adorable!

Flowers and Faces

so...i hope i don't get in trouble from c for posting this. : ) this week the theme for i heart faces is "flowers and faces." which is great, because i happen to love spring time, which means of course...flowers! c is getting ready to serve her mission in florida and asked me to take some mission pictures of her. i was so excited when we found this flower bush! isn't she a cute missionary?!
