have you ever seen it? probably one of the greatest movies EVER! so if you haven't seen it i would definitely recommend it.
denton, one of the good guys in the film says, " sometimes all it takes is a voice, one voice that becomes a hundred, then a thousand, unless it's silenced." people tried to silence the newsies. in fact, they would do anything to keep them quiet. but would they listen? will they keep quiet? no! these boys stood up for what they believed, protected each other, they wouldn't be silenced. instead the seized the day. life is sometimes like that i think. you stand in front of insurmountable odds, you get beat down, people don't believe in you, sometimes you don't even believe in yourself. yet somehow even still you must find that thing that gives you strength to stand strong and seize the day, once and for all! don't keep quiet. find those that will stand strong with you because when we stand together...nothing can stop us from living up to our full potential.

I heart the newsies. So much. Oh gosh....if I could tell you about the Newsies parties we had in junior high....yes, we had a party for Christian Bale's birthday....yes, we all dressed up as Newsies at least one Halloween of our teenaged years....yes, we all tried to learn the dance to "Seize the Day"....the list goes on. :)
