i often find myself thinking that if something were a certain way, or if it wasn't such awful weather, or if i never had to worry about expenses that i would miraculously be happier. when the truth is that if i do by chance get that thing i think i want i usually am not any happier, or at least not for long, happier than i was before. i really love this song which describes these things for me. not everything turns out exactly as you planned but it does turn out just fine. you have to find happiness in whatever situation you find yourself in.
